Example of usage - three access points - using advanced capabilities of Z-397 Guard converter.
Such usage significantly simplifies installationof the circuit.
Used equipment :
-Controller Z-5R Net -1pc ( on main entrance +button for security personell)
-reader/controller Matrix-II Net-2pcs ( two access areas- Room №1,Room №2)
-Reader MATRIX-II- 4 pcs
-Converter USB-RS485 Z-397 Guard-1pc
-as example - software Guard Commander
Tasks before installation of software.
1.Connection of electrical circuit.
2.Checking for errors.
Set converter Z-397 Guard to “Accept” mode by jumper, connect to pc with USB cable.
This mode allows:
- automatical setting of adresses for all controllers (factory setting for all No1)
- Used cards are stored in memory and door is opened
- If controllers are working from cards then it means all connections are done right
Installation of Guard Commander
1.Connect converter USB-RS485 Z-397 Guard
2. Install Guard Commander
At startup programm will show all controllers switched to accept mode. Further you need to set number for each controller – Main entrance, Area №1, Area №2…. and etc
At the beginning you can build data base of cards for main entrance then copy this base and make some changes for other areas
